Overview

Position: On-Call Registered Nurse

Shift: Friday 4:30 PM – Monday 8:00 AM
Status: Per Diem / PRN

 

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as a PRN On-Call Weekend Nurse. Currently, this position will provide temporary coverage working every weekend from Friday at 4:30 PM until Monday at 8:00 AM. The schedule is currently consistent every weekend to support current staffing needs, with the expectation of on-call availability during these hours. However, the role is per diem, and the hours may change or reduce dependent staffing needs.  As an On-Call RN, you will play a vital role in identifying patient and family needs, coordinating care, and offering preventative measures and compassionate support.

  • Maintain Accurate Documentation: Every detail is crucial in delivering high-quality care, both in the patient's home and within our agency and regulatory standards. Your attention to detail is vital to our success.
  • Provide Support for Families: Impact patients' families by sharing your knowledge and expertise, guiding and supporting them in caring for their terminally ill loved ones. Your presence offers confidence and reassurance during this challenging time.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in nursing or health care preferred.
  • Hold current unencumbered license as a Registered Nurse (RN).
  • Minimum one (1) year experience as an RN in a medical surgical/acute care setting. Hospice exp a Plus!
  • Must be computer proficient in typing and various programs, including background in EMR.
  • Possess and maintains current CPR certification if required by state.
